Marketing materials: Create Job posting

While job descriptions document the parameters of a role for internal use, job postings market the role to prospective candidates across a wide range of platforms, including your organization’s career website, and many of the top online recruitment sites. StaffingManager lets you create multiple job postings for single role so that you can create optimal posts and track results based on platform.

Important: You must have an approved job description and at least one candidate assessment method in place before you can create a job posting.

To create a job posting:

  1. Open the job requisition for the role you want to post.
  2. Click the Marketing materials link in the status panel.
  3. When the post list appears, click Create job posting.
  4. Refer to the Job requisition and Job description tabs on the left as needed
  1. Choose the Platform where the post will appear and select a Target word count method.
  2. Complete the desire SEO attributes
  3. Add information as needed to the free-form text fields to provide compelling messaging and further actions for prospective candidates.
  4. Click the Create button.
  5. The AI engine processes key information from the job description, the posting requirements and any industry best practices to compile the draft posting.
  1. As needed, use the Copy to clipboard icon to share the posting with internal stakeholders.
  2. Click the Edit link to make any changes to the text.
  3. Select Approved from the Draft status dropdown.
  4. Click Save or Save and close to return to the Job posting list.
